Weed Eater FL1500LE 23cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered 150 mph Blower Review

Weed Eater FL1500LE 23cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered 150 mph BlowerCheap shouldn't necessarily mean low quality. If you're looking at this you probably want an inexpensive blower for a small yard, but don't want a power cord to lug around, and don't want to pay $300 for a backpack blower that is overkill. That's why I got this blower.

Unfortunately, this unit is low quality.I used mine for 18 months and it's dead, the pull cord has completely seized and the handle has always been loose/cheap feeling. There is no fix given on the Poulan/Weedeater website for the pull cord, so I will either need to:1. Take it to a shop and pay more than it's worth to repair it.2.Open it up, lose parts, and not be able to put it back together 3. Take it back to Lowes and see if they will replace it, which I doubt, or 4.Buy something new.All actions you shouldn't have to take after very moderate use-10 minutes a week in the summer and longer during leaf season.

I think people will regret going low budget on this purchase.

Weed Eater EBV215 12 amp 215 mph Electric Blower/Vac Review

Weed Eater EBV215 12 amp 215 mph Electric Blower/VacThe weight and performance of the weedeater itself, is very good. However, the bag that is furnished for vacuum, is really bad.On second use, the zipper broke, the same problem I had with previous one I owned. They need to redesign zipper with making sure it is stronger and goes straight across. The bag throws out a lot of dirt, which is bad for your respiration and cleanup.

Husqvarna 125B 28cc 2-Stroke 170-MPH Gas-Powered Handheld Gas Blower Review

Husqvarna 125B 28cc 2-Stroke 170-MPH Gas-Powered Handheld Gas BlowerI previously owned an electric blower and then I had the Poulan Pro PPB300E that worked fine for the first couple of times I used it. Then for the next two years it was very hard to start, the engine would not run properly and had to keep it running mingling with the throttle and choke, and when it ran it did not seem to blow as it should have. Now it finally gave its ghost, the engine locked up. Since it was not worth fixing it, I went out and bought the Husqvarna 125B
I had a few surprises:
- At the first touch I noticed how much lighter is than the Poulan. After mounting the air pipe and nozzle, although is so light, it feels "solid".
- The starting rope can be pulled very easily. In fact so easy that at the first pull, I put my back into it and pulled so hard that I reached the end of the rope probably and the handle just flew out of my hand. I know... you're not supposed to do that, but it didn't seem to have hurt it.
- It started at the third pull, which I think is great for a brand new motor.
- Thereafter, I stopped and restarted as I was cleaning the yard several times, and every time it started at the first pull.
- The air speed and the blowing pattern seem to be very good because the dirt blows away really fast, significantly faster than the other blowers I used.
- I love the throttle being mounted on the handle as it gives you nice control over the air speed, especially when you are close to the finish and try to pile up the dirt. Also I love that it has a "cruise control" lever, which you can move to get the desired speed and then you don't have to hold the throttle, which is helpful on larger areas.

I see nothing wrong or that I would liked changed yet, so the only question remaining is how long it will last.

One note: I really do not see what is the difference between the 125B and 125Bx. The 125BVx is the same but comes with a vacuum kit.

Swisher Shindaiwa E4 34cc 4-Stroke Engine Commercial Grade Blower E4-A4000 Review

Swisher Shindaiwa E4 34cc 4-Stroke Engine Commercial Grade Blower E4-A4000I have had a few gas blowers in my life, Mccollough and 2echos but this blower is the by far the best. It is so much quieter with less exhaust fumes and so powerful. The four stroke engine isnice but you can tell you arent sacrificing any of the power. I read that this was the most powerful blower in its class and I'm not surprised. You can tell that this is a commercial engine just by the way that it runs and seems like it will last me a long long time. I was thinking about going to a backpack but I'm glad that I didnt with this, wasnt really necessary for the amount of property I have anyways.
