Replacement Voltage Regulator For Briggs and Stratton # 393374 394890 691185 Review

I own a 52-inch Snapper with a 24 HP B&S engine. This is a California machine, with various wiring mods that imperil the regulator. My original regulator failed after a few hours service. I shorted out the diode that is in series with the magnetic clutch and placed a new snubber diode across the
clutch winding. After installing my new regulator (Amazon---great price) everything works fine.

This coil does NOT fit all lawnboy mowers. it didn't fit my 1992 model.so I did get a return credit, but am still out the freight charges, both ways.
