I purchased this attachment to install on my Toro Recyler mower.Although the box says it works on Toro mowers, there is an alert printed in another location on the box that says it won't work on Toro Recycler mowers with "Atomic" blades. The curved blade holder on the Toro prevents the Arnold attachment from being securely attached and none of the adapter washers fit the shaft."Universal" is a bit of an exaggeration.

I learned after paying for the product and shipping that this item is not compatible with my lawn mower. Guess the phrase " fits all mowers" does not pertain to mine. Returning is not an option as shipping costs back to the supplier would off set the refund for the product. Stay away from this item!!!!
I have used this blade for years. It is far cheaper than the new type with disposable plastic prongs, where you have to buy replacement plastic strips and initial price is twice the priceof the Ace Universal dethatching blade. I highly rated this item.
Looks and feels like it would be a nice blade but unfortunately, it does NOT fit Murray 22 inch mulching moower as advertised. Center holes are not properly aligned. Avoid and go with another to or just take your $20 and burn it to save time.
