My review is of an MTD LAWN MOWER PART # 754-0486A BELT-V TYPE sold on Amazon.com
Good product works great on my lawn tractor, BUT! Not an MTD part. The belt works just great and was the proper size, but it wasn't an MTD part as advertised. The end result is that my tractor deck is operational again, no complaints and it was a good price.
I contacted the seller weeks ago and as of today (Nov. 22. 09) I still have not heard anything from seller.
The only thing that stops my review from being 5-star is that it was sold as an MTD part and it wasn't. Additionally, I have had no response from the Amazon.com seller.
If the seller stated that it fits MTD products that would be fine. But, stating that it is, or showing a picture of a MTD belt and sending another brand is "false advertising" or false representation of a product.
The real question is would I buy from this seller again, absolutely yes!However, I like to know exactly what I'm getting, including style, brand, variations from original, even color if it matters.

My purchase was done on a Sunday evening at home. No running from lawnmower shops to find the correct belts or going to the original mfg and paying 100% more for the same . It was simple even though I'm not and expert on the computer.After the order was placed confirmation from amazon was recieved and I was able to track them to my post office. Their installed and work. I'll use Amazon again.Pete
