I have used these springs anually for the last 9 years.They are a good alternative to commercial dethatchers where the thatch is only a year old.I simply use my regular mower to mow down to a very low level and then I use the dethatch springs.Each pair is good for a thorough dethatch job on about 1000 square feet of grass.I use 2 pair for my 2000 square feet of lawn.
