This Swisher-branded tool is the private label version of the standard Shindaiwa multi-tool head.Shindaiwa makes the best commercial trimmers and brushcutters, period.Nothing against other excellent brands, like Stihl (which I also own) and Echo, but in this tool category, Shindaiwa is better.I've owned the Shindaiwa-branded version for 5 years, and it has been dead reliable.The Swisher version appears to be identical.Every part is top-quality.The engine starts quickly and easily, even after storage, it warms up quickly, and it accelerates quickly.The takedown mechanism is very solid - there is no play whatsoever when it is fastened.

The Swisher version, and the Swisher-branded attachments for the head, sell for less than the Shindaiwa versions, too.Highly recommended.
