Swisher Postmaster 6.75 HP Trimmer Attachment PST67522 Review

Disappointed in performance, is under powered for most tasks. The machine is difficult to pull behind ATV and get close enough to fence to do and adequate job and then is easily bogged down by grass. The recoil action increases the difficulty in doing a nice job of mowing.The postmaster does have limited application along ditches but again you must move very slowly to allow machine to keep running this can be extremely difficult even in the lowest gear on an ATV.I have owned the postmaster for two years but after initial trial period rarely use the machine. Very disappointed.

Out of the box, the 10" Electric String Trimmer worked very well.The Operator's Manual, however, contains imprecise instructions and diagrams that are so small as to be nearly useless.When the cutting line broke and I turned to the Operator's Manual, I found that the sections on "Spool Replacement and Recovery of Broken Line" and on "Replacing Line on Spool" were not clear: they did not identify the specific parts and the diagrams illustrating these procedures were very small.The Customer Service people promptly mailed replacement parts to me, at no charge -- high marks to them -- but the Operator's Manual is not at all helpful.

Interesting to note that no one has commented on how belts have performed after a good amount of service. Any belts will perform well initially. The reality is that these belts have about one fifth of the service life of a quality belt. Mine came apart after less than one season of mowing. That would be fine for me if they were one fifth the price of a good belt, but they are not.I routinely buy cheap stuff and usually get away with it. Not this time. Recommend you save yourself the time and money and just go buy your belts at Tractor Supply.

Do not purchase the Oregon manufactured part.I purchased the part from Mowtown USA (great, prompt service from Mowtown USA) and the part was shipped by Stens: The Parts Company.When I put in the self-tapping screws, as is required for the original part, the base fractured.It's obvious that the materials used are much below the standard of the original.I am going to return this part and purchase the original Craftsman manufactured part.

With only one wheel on the far right side of the blade it tilts towards the blade when you lift the handle to go around a curve in my driveway. it then digs into the concrete or the lawn and tears it up. Oem Spec Belt TROY BILT/1902325 Review

Very simple - it works! Seriously I had been using the cheap belt replacement ones from the local hardware store and I had never known what a real belt could do for the chipper shredder. This is a well made solid trailer with the added benefit of being convertable into a carrier or just transported easily without taking up cargo space.

It is a better trailer than I expected it to be.I'm very pleased with the purchase and the Amazon price was better than most and shipping was free.The vinyl bearing cups didn't fit well over the grease nipples is my only complaint - not a big deal.

Original Sears Craftsman Husqvarna Part # 193144 WHEEL 8X2 RAD BLK, Includes Dust Cover Review

I spent some time online researching replacement front drive wheels for my Husqvarna lawn mower. There are a confusing number of serial numbers and brand names out there for Sears Craftsman, Husqvarna, AYP, etc., but I eventually determined they are all cross compatible as long as they match the following specs based on the original wheels of my mower:

Wheel diameter: 8"
Wheel width: 2"
Gear teeth: 53
Bore: 1/2" Dia.
Hub Offset: 1-5/8" (1.60")

These things being the same, the tread pattern and color of the plastic hub are what seem to vary from one model to another. Price range is all over the place too. A "Husqvarna" wheel cost as much as $32 from one online retailer. Sears Craftsman around $23 each from another. I thought the $15 price for the one I found on Amazon to be an awesome deal.

I opened up the box and was very pleased to find that the wheels are actually different than the one pictured. The ones I received have black plastic instead of the white in the picture. Best of all, the ones I got have metal bearing rings on both sides of the axle hole. This feature should really extend the life of the wheels, preventing them from reaming out at the plastic axle hole and getting wobbly - that's what caused my old wheels to give out after a few years.

Each wheel comes with a new plastic dust cover that fits over the inside face of the wheel. I checked the packaging and it's stamped with "193144", so this is indeed the wheel I ordered. I'm glad I got an improved model with the metal bearings. Other wheels I saw cost a lot more and have an all plastic hub design.
